A Design Engineer is responsible for designing and developing air-moving equipment utilizing CAD.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate product development projects to ensure the design meets requirements within the required time frame
- Participates in overall product strategy, research and development, and manufacturing coordination for new and modified products
- Work Cross functionally with Sales, Marketing, Quality Assurance, and Operations to develop and provide product definitions responsive to customer needs and market opportunities
- Review progress continually through the product life cycle to ensure the attainment of objectives
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in product development
- Sheet metal, Autodesk Inventor, structural analysis, and computational fluid dynamics experience preferred
Compensation/Benefits:
- Base salary up to 80K/yr, depending on experience (cost of living will be considered)
- Relocation assistance is available
- The position is available due to an internal promotion
