Territory Sales Manager

Proven leader in the Midwest for Industrial Distribution as it pertains to rigging and lifting products.  A company that’s 75+ years in Business and are subject matter experts in what they do.  They seek a self-motivated, independent, hard-working, customer driven sales professional for their Indianapolis Market.  One will be successful in this role if:

  • 2-3 years’ experience working in Industrial Distribution
  • Inside Sales experience in an Industrial Distribution setting
  • Experience in raw material sourcing
  • Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, steel, synthetic materials, cranes, etc.
  • Interact with existing customers for product repair, inspections, training, and future sales
  • Develop new business prospects by demonstrating company products and their features
  • Experience with quoting prices, prepare drawings, estimates, and bids to meet customer specs
  • Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitor products, prices, etc.
  • Perform necessary administrative duties such as sales budget & reports, sales records, and expense account reports


Company offers full health care (medical, dental, and vision), HSA plan, life insurance, 401K w/matching, and work hours of M-F, 7:30-4:30pm, but should field evening calls or emails when necessary.  Other perks: company vehicle, electronic devices, cell phone, gas & maintenance paid on the company vehicle and expense account for customer interactions. This professional will work a hybrid between the field & in the office.  Compensation is ½ base and ½ commission to total up to $65,000-$70,000 in employees first year plus 9 paid holidays and PTO.
