The Production Manager will oversee all daily operations of the plant from production and manufacturing to ensuring policies and procedures are followed. They will be responsible for develop processes that will maximize safety, quality, and productivity.

  • OEE, performance, quality, availability

Key Responsibilities:

  • Worker compliance for production direct and indirect labor with all company policies, work instructions and procedures to include company handbook.
  • IQMS on-time delivery
  • 95% schedule attainment
  • 5S of the plant including a pristine production and materials area
  • 95% direct labor efficiencies
  • Leads, develops, trains, directs, coaches, and evaluates the performance of the production team.
  • Effectively identify and address performance issues as they arise. Give recognition in a timely manner for good performance.
  • Implement initiatives to promote a safety culture to drive toward zero incidents
  • Facilitate communication throughout the plant to achieve company goals
  • Maintain the measurement of machine utilization and efficiency to improve product throughput to achieve company goals.
  • Participate and report operational issues during monthly operations meeting, daily production and three point control meetings.
  • Implement continuous improvement strategies in technology, quality, equipment and environment.
  • Monitor BOM’s and ensure required changes are implemented most importantly manning and cycle times.
  • Collaborate with tooling engineers, quality engineers and managers, to launch new tools on time and on budget during APQP
  • Develop and maintain a safe friendly culture that recognizes employee contributions and encourages participation in improving the performance and success of the company
  • Maintain process discipline
  • Participates and helps develop customer corrective actions including root cause analysis and error proof solutions.


  • High school diploma
  • 10 years injection molding experience with progressive development in production management roles in a high speed manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of operations, including scheduling, production and quality systems IATF 16949:16 preferred
  • Demonstrated experience and functionality with ERP’s, IQMS preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience at implementing continuous improvement, lean or other process improvement techniques. Prefer green belt or lean expert.
