Extrusion Operator 3rd Shift

The Extrusion Machine Operator is responsible for following manufacturing procedures, maintain a high level of production, record and maintain the tolerances specified for each component. Programming knowledge is a benefit to this position. Some components require second operations such as tumble blasting, chemical cleaners and dry film lubricating.

  • Recording data and maintaining specs of components
  • Measuring components produced by the machine using precision measurement tools
  • Participating in daily team strategy meetings
  • Organize, clean machines and maintain the cell
  • Perform second operations on required components
  • Operator maintenance to machines
  • Maintain the flow of production, from raw material to finished component
  • Label and record for each production run
  • Be willing to work any of the stations assigned or open to being transferred to another department for the day as per request of management
  • Clean up area before end of day
  • Use safety and precaution while working
  • Follow Company Policy and the directive of the team leader

Fabrication Manager or Shift supervisor

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Sunday Night through Friday Morning, 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.  Overtime will, at times be required.

Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers etc.)
