EHS Supervisor

Desired Skills and Experience

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Work closely with manufacturing to support a strong culture of Safety.

·         Work closely with Engineering to identify process improvements that will pro-actively eliminate injuries before they happen.

·         Develop and coordinate the implementation of specific metrics.

·         Investigate all incidents and compliance issues, making recommendations on changes to ensure reduction of rates of occurrence.

·         Evaluate and make recommendations on all machine safety programs to ensure they are consistent with company and OSHA regulations.

·         Conduct planned and spot Audits on all EHS metrics.

·         Lead air, water, energy, and wastewater management programs to ensure all governmental compliance is maintained.

 

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

BS Degree 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skill.

·         Proven knowledge and execution of EHS programs.

·         Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a durable goods Manufacturing operation.

·         Ability to utilize Excel and PowerPoint.

·         Certifications in Safety, Ergonomics, Environmental areas preferred.
