Position Overview:

  • Develop new product lines and markets by conceiving and implementing strategic marketing plans
  • Create marketing plans that define goals, strategy, budgets and specific action items 
  • Identify opportunities for profit growth within existing products and services
  • Rebrand and reestablish company in the marketplace
  • Translate Voice of the Customer (VOC) into product improvements and enhancements
  • Work cross-functionally, relaying data and information to engineering, manufacturing and sales
  • Monitor industry trends, staying knowledgeable in factors that affect the business including economics, competition and market trends
  • Coordinate and maintain major customer contracts
  • Act as a representative of the company to both press and trade
  • Led in pricing strategies, developing structure and policy  
  • Communicate strategies, policies, and environmental factors to the organization. 
  • Establish the framework of a highly effective, growing marketing department
  • Reports to: President 
  • Direct Reports Include: At least (1) Marketing Associate or Analyst (yet to be hired)

  • Minimum of 8 years’ relevant product marketing experience
  • B.S. or equivalent in Business, Sales, Marketing or similar discipline
  • (Advanced degree, MS and/or MBA, is preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills and project management with cross-functional teams
  • Competence in Excel, PowerPoint, and database-driven ERP
  • Negotiation and sales capability is also beneficial    
  • Plastics experience is a bonus
