Position Overview:

  • Establish operational Supply Chain policies and implement both long and short-term plans to achieve organizational objectives for procurement of raw materials
  • Negotiate and maintain strong contracts/supply agreements to include pricing and material costs reductions
  • Ensure Supply Chain is synchronized to produce maximum efficiencies and lowest cost of operation
  • Develop sound Supply Chain contingencies to enable rapid reaction to forecast deficiencies while still balancing overall business objectives
  • Support materials planning: raw materials, transportation, finished goods
  • Meets budgetary costs and drive OTD
  • Increase monthly Inventory turns 
  • Lead internal and external logistics
  • Lead development, implementation, and management of effective S&OP forecasting, demand and supply processes to ensure optimum and cost-effective product availability
  • Drive improvements to inventory accuracy
  • Reports to: General Manager
  • Direct Reports Include: (1) Buyer and (1) Material Planner

  • Minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience
  • B.S. or equivalent in Supply Chain/Sourcing or a relevant engineering, scientific or business discipline 
  • Strong negotiation skills are a MUST   
  • APIC's or equivalent certification is a BONUS
  • Lean and Six Sigma is also a Bonus
  • Budgetary experience
  • Good ERP knowledge  
  • Experience driving improvements to Purchase Price Variance (PPV) and Material Usage Variance (MUV)


  • 92-100k base salary plus benefits, 401k match, vacation and other bonus'
