CMM Programmer - Zeiss

Are you into Firearms? Would you like to work with a group of like-minded co-workers that have a passion for making great firearm related parts & accessories? If Yes, read on...

My client is a growing, well-respected accessory manufacturer that needs a CMM Programmer/Operator. You would be responsible for routine inspection of daily "in-process" parts and verification of features for setup/initial production pieces. Working with programmable CMM's, manual CMM's and laboratory gauging are also essential to determine conformance of customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Create CMM programs using Zeiss CMM.
2. Perform routine in-process inspections.
3. Perform verification layouts for equipment adjustments, initial submissions or offsets that require time.
4. Alert Quality and Production personnel when confronted with a non-conforming product and tag as appropriate in order to contain such non-conforming material per company standards.
5. Interpret blueprints and GD&T drawings.
6. Work and thrive, making your own decisions, in a busy production environment
