Account Manager

Summary: 

The Account Manager role will encompass the development and maintenance of relationships with existing customers along with bringing on new business.  In this role, the candidate will be accountable for constantly increasing revenue.  This person will be the sell international and domestic mail and parcel solutions as well as value added services to businesses and industrial establishments.  They will be responsible for continually compiling lists of new business and prospective customers.  Meet or exceed annual revenue growth goals as well as meet weekly performance standards for sales activities and administrative requirements.  Investigate and resolve customer problems.  Make account receivable calls for overdue customer invoices and work closely with AR individuals in sales support to ensure receipt of payment.  Attend all bi-weekly, monthly, or annual sales meetings or conference calls.

 

What Kind of background do I need for this role?

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred; or one to two years related experience
  • Ability to compete with your competitors business and convey company value to customers
  • Ability to cold call and negotiate rates
  • Solid sales background with proven sales results
  • Experience with international fulfillment (parcels)
